‘Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘UK Jazz Act Of The Year’ at the Jazz FM Awards, Georgia Cécile stands at the helm of the UK’s thriving young jazz scene. Inspired by the likes of Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and Esperanza Spalding, the vocalist and songwriter’s debut topped the UK Official Charts - Jazz and Blues category. Following the release of her debut, Cécile supported Gregory Porter on tour, performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall and showcased at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Championed by BBC Radio 2 & BBC 6 Music she continues to make her mark as one of the UK's finest new voices - heralded by The Guardian as one of six up and coming UK artists.
