Halo Arts is thrilled to announce the return of its annual community panto and we're thrilled to have them at The Pyramid for the first time, with this year's production of The Wizard of Oz.
Join Dorothy, her wee dug Toto and bonkers Aunty Sandra as they embark on an unexpected journey from Glasgow to the land of Oz - via the yellow brick road of course! Joining them are the brainless Scarecrow, the heartless Tin Man, and the cowardly Lion. With the help of 'Goodie two shoes' Glinda, can they defeat the crabbit auld Wicked Witch of the West and reach the Wizard in the Emerald City?
The Halo Arts panto is not just a highlight of the festive season but also a cornerstone of Halo's commitment to providing accessible community projects across Glasgow. The popular and highly acclaimed annual show ensures that the joy and magic of panto can be enjoyed by all.
The writer & producer of The Wizard of Oz is Brendon McIlroy, the founder and Artistic Director of Halo Arts and the show is directed by Stephanie Falls.
Brendon says, "We're super excited at the prospect of our sixth annual panto getting on the road in November. As with every year, our primary aim is to make panto accessible to all, not just those who can afford to pay over £30 a ticket in the City Centre."
Unreserved seating. If you have any access requirements, please contact info@thepyramid.scot so we can make arrangements. Our venue is fully accessible, and we can supply a free carer's ticket (proof of entitlement required).
Suitable for all ages, but everyone, including 'babes in arms', must have a ticket, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
