The collective, made up of over fifty authors and poets mostly from Glasgow’s southside, has put together a work of 33 short stories, poems and flash fiction representing life south of the Clyde.
While many contributions came from native Soo’siders, others were from those who have come from near and far to make this diverse part of the city their home. There are even contributions from as far away as America and Brazil.
Alex Meikle and Frank Chambers, who compiled this new anthology agreed: “The talent and diversity of ideas and genres never fails to impress and inspire. It is our hope that the launch event will not only promote local talent but provide opportunities for others to get involved. Preparations for a fourth anthology are already under way.”
As part of Book Week Scotland and supported by Glasgow Life the collection will be launched at a free community event at Langside Library on Tuesday 19th November @ 6pm. Refreshments will be available. No tickets are required for this event.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
