Glasgow Summer Sessions has today announced an event unlike any other, presenting the Punk All Dayer - an electrifying celebration of punk music with legendary acts Sex Pistols (Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock) featuring Frank Carter, The Stranglers, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, The Skids, The Rezillos and more. This one-day festival will take place in Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park on Saturday 21st June 2025, promising fans an unmissable gathering of punk icons.
The Punk All Dayer will bring together thousands of punk enthusiasts for this unique experience to celebrate punk music in its raw, rebellious glory, creating an unforgettable atmosphere in a city known for its vibrant music scene and will capture the spirit of punk in every guitar riff and shout.
In a thrilling collaboration, the iconic Sex Pistols (Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock) join with punk rock’s fierce contemporary force Frank Carter, blending the Pistols' defiant legacy with Carter’s raw intensity. Known for his explosive stage presence and boundary-pushing music, Carter is a powerful frontman, and his partnership with the Sex Pistols breathes more life into punk's anarchic roots. After first getting together to perform at Bush Hall in August this year, the high energy performance garnered critical acclaim, and a small tour followed with a stream of 5-star reviews from the likes of The Standard, The Arts Desk, Glasgow Times and many more. Fans can anticipate a unique performance that unites punk generations and sets a new bar for live punk shows.
Known for hits like "Peaches", “No More Heroes” and “Golden Brown” The Stranglers bring their unique mix of punk, new wave, and rock to the lineup. Their intense, melodic style and unmistakable sound make them one of the most enduring names in music history and their set at the Punk All Dayer will highlight why they were at the forefront of the punk rock movement alongside Sex Pistols and The Clash.
Famous for their timeless hit “Teenage Kicks," The Undertones have left an indelible mark on punk with their catchy melodies and vibrant style. Their music’s raw energy and universal appeal have made them a staple of punk’s golden era, and their performance at the Punk All Dayer will give fans the chance to experience these classics live.
Punk/New wave pioneers Buzzcocks are renowned for their fast-paced, melodic sound and memorable tracks like "Ever Fallen in Love" and “Promises”. Their influence on punk rock has been far-reaching, and their set promises to bring fans a mix of classics and unforgettable moments.
With anthemic songs like "Into the Valley" and “Masquerade” The Skids bring their unique, passionate style to the Punk All Dayer. Known for their infectious energy and unmistakable sound, they continue to be a favourite among punk fans across the country.
The Rezillos’ playful and energetic approach to the genre, marked by songs like "Top of the Pops", will add a lively, retro flavour to the festival, showcasing punk’s fun and rebellious spirit.
