Talking is Mental is an initiative looking to combat loneliness, stress and anxiety in Glasgow. Their first Football is Mental group will be held on Thursday 5th December at Powerleague Soccer Centre.

We are an initiative looking to combat loneliness, stress and anxiety in Glasgow, we aim to do this through creating a variety of activity groups that facilitate friendships and encourage dialogue about the effects of loneliness on mental health.

We are delighted to announce our first official Football is Mental group, this will consist of a 1 hour fun and social five a side game followed by an optional 30-45 min peer-to-peer support group. Price will be dependent on how many players attend but will be no more than £5-£6, if you are interested in coming along give us an email.

Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
