You will explore relaxation, posture, breath, muscular support and storytelling and the opportunity to work towards a stronger, more powerful and embodied voice.
The easy to follow vocal exercises, will offer participants the opportunity to explore inner balance and harmony, develop vocal confidence and increased colour and energy in their speaking voice.
An engaging voice is one of the key components to a successful acting career, being successful in drama school auditions and communicating effectively in the workplace both online and in person.
This open access course is suitable for training, professional and amateur actors or those who are required to communicate as part of their profession who wish to:
Learn principles of relaxation and deep breathing to support effective vocal delivery
Develop their resonance, pitch and timbre of voice to enhance the impact of their spoken voice for performance or other essential communications
Gain an understanding of how to embody the voice and work with quick fix techniques to control nerves before performances and presentations
Receive coaching on monologues, speeches or presentations to achieve maximum impact on the listener
