Join jewellery designer & ceramicist Addison(they/she) for this short course in making your own flat-back charms from porcelain and turn them into wearable works of art.
In week one you will shape and design your own charms from royale porcelain, working with texturing plates, silkscreens and sgraffito tools. You will also have access to pre-made porcelain charms to experiment with print and glazing.
In week two you will learn to use some beginner jewellery making tools and materials to turn your charms into jewellery. A wide selection of silver plated findings will be available to choose from and you could be making necklaces, bracelets, brooches or earrings.
This class is more suited to those with some experience of ceramics or other clay but beginners are welcome too. You can expect to make 5 pieces of jewellery by the end of the course, depending on the intricacy of your designs and experience level.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
