Fife-based singer and multi-instrumentalist, Julia Knight brings her collection of comic and parody songs to Glasgow International Comedy Festival for the first time!
About Jest Julia - Songs of Joy and Justice
Her songs highlight life’s joys, absurdities and injustices in equal measure. Find out why she loves avocados but avoids extreme sports. There are songs about George Monbiot, gin, and billionaires.
Jest Julia also features songs from both Julia’s solo shows – ‘I Am Not Victoria Wood” which had sell-out runs at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and the award-winning “Zeit-Heist: more than a feeling”.
Previous audiences have described her as “A one-woman Fascinating Aïda”.
