From classical to contemporary and from Celtic to country, Glasgow’s vibrant music scene encompasses all styles and genres. Internationally recognised as Scotland’s music capital, the city sees over half a million people enjoying gigs in its iconic venues every year. From hosting Scotland’s biggest festivals to providing a home to national institutions, Glasgow moves to its own irrepressible rhythm. No wonder it’s recognised as a City of Music by UNESCO.
Clyde Chorus is our flagship music event for Glasgow 850. Celebrating our rich musical heritage, it’s a multi-venue, multi genre event taking place in established and bespoke locations along the River Clyde, including the SEC Armadillo and the Briggait.
In addition to the main programme, there will be a wider cultural offering, reflecting and showcasing broader arts and grassroots projects and using the River Clyde as inspiration. There will be a schools’ performance, choirs animating across the programme, and collaboration with music festivals including Piping Live! and Celtic Connections. Clyde Chorus will have something for all ages, and lots of opportunities for people to get involved and celebrate Glasgow’s unique musical life.
More information on acts, venues and how to secure tickets will be released during March 2025.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
