Do you remember where you came from? Do you know who you are and where you are going? Grab our hands, we are going there with you!
Welcome to World’s Evolution, a dance show that will take you on a journey from the origins of humanity until modern days, highlighting the continuous growth of mankind. Explore with us the vast beauty of our motherland, Africa, the epicentre of where human life began, and how humanity has evolved since then.
Using a broad range of street dance styles from hip-hop, popping, krump and locking as well as African and Caribbean traditional dances through experimental choreographic practices, World’s Evolution is an exciting immersive experience that honours the seismic impact of movement cultures in shaping humanity throughout history.
The show will grant the audience the space to reflect on a time and space where people were united, and to question modern day challenges and look towards a better future where we are free to express our true selves.
Presented by Three60 street dance company, directed by Divine Tasinda, Adam McMillan, Kemono L.Riot and Levent Nyembo, produced by MC Laffitte.
