Step into a world of vintage charm, live jazz, and Sunday sophistication as Sunday Swing returns to Bluedog, one of Glasgow’s premier cocktail lounges.
Hosted by jazz vocalist and clarinetist Jack Heavenor, this monthly afternoon event brings together some of the city’s top musicians for a laid-back, luxurious swing session designed to end your weekend on a high note.
This May edition falls on Star Wars Day (May the Fourth), and while the dress code remains timeless, there may be a few musical surprises from a galaxy far, far away subtly woven into the set.
Enjoy two full sets of golden-age swing classics, crooner-era vocals, and tasteful jazz standards performed by a handpicked quartet—all in an intimate, stylish setting.
Your £15 ticket includes:
• A welcome cocktail
• A complimentary cheeseboard & chocolates
• Reserved seating and live music from 2:30PM to 4:30PM
Lineup:
Jack Heavenor – Vocals / Clarinet
Kyle Irwin – Guitar
Duncan Kremer – Bass
Greg Irons – Drums
Whether you’re looking for a classy prelude to your evening plans (like Postmodern Jukebox at the Armadillo), skipping the football crowds, or just searching for a reason to dress up and unwind, Sunday Swing at Bluedog promises elegance, intimacy, and exceptional live music in the heart of Glasgow.
