Step into a world of timeless swing and live jazz at Bluedog, one of Glasgow’s finest cocktail bars, on Sunday, 2nd March 2025.
Join Jack Heavenor & his quartet for a sophisticated afternoon of live music, featuring some of the city’s most accomplished jazz musicians. Whether you’re a dedicated swing fan or simply looking for an elegant and entertaining way to spend your Sunday, this event offers the perfect blend of classic swing, smooth melodies, and vibrant improvisation.

Meet the Band
• Jack Heavenor (Vocals & Clarinet) – A regular performer at Bluedog, Bossa, and The Maverick, Jack is known for his authentic and engaging interpretations of swing classics.
• Bohdan Ilnytskyi (Piano) – A dynamic performer who has played at PAP Jazz Festival and Lublin Jazz Festival, blending jazz, classical, and folk influences in his improvisations.
• Duncan Kremer (Bass) – An experienced bassist who has played with the University of St Andrews Scholarship Jazz Ensemble, providing the deep swing grooves that drive the band.
• Garry Simpson (Drums) – A Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduate, Garry has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and worked with Scotland’s top jazz musicians, bringing energy and nuance to every performance.
