Float invites you to relax with your baby and enjoy a gently interactive performance, with music, dance, visual projections and sensory objects, in a beautiful, calm space inspired by the healing properties of water. You and your baby are free to explore this safe tactile world and engage with the performers or unwind and de-stress in Float's tranquil space.
Float is a three-hour experience. Your ticket will allow you to come and go as you as want during this time, so you don’t have to worry about arriving later, leaving earlier, or taking a wee break in between.
Float is a durational performance with a relaxed and fluid approach that is designed to adapt to the rhythms and needs of the babies attending. Float includes a 40-min performance that will run a number of times during the 3-hours, alongside informal and engaging interaction between artists and babies. Audiences will be able to move freely in and out of the space as they choose, and there is a soft start approach allowing for flexibility around the baby's needs and the grown-ups' needs.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
