Fields of Performance is a dynamic collection of experimental and interdisciplinary works, ranging from intimate solos to collaborative pieces presented in studio theatre settings and in public spaces around Central Scotland.
This is the final year of the Contemporary Performance Practice programme, and this work honours the legacy of past and present students, their expansive range works and the diverse contexts they continue to engage with.
Experience the freshness and originality of a new wave of artists, ready to redefine the boundaries of performance.
Take Care
by Tabitha Dearie
“If ghosts can move back home?
The ones who die in the hospitals, the ones who die at the scene, who just fall asleep at the hotel aboard or if souls are real? Does anyone want to know?”
A complex exploration into the immorality of grief, disease and memories.
Take Care explores the answers questions I have now you're gone, a messy unanswered discussion on care, caregiving and where does the joy and comfort exist in that space?
This performance will be interpreted in BSL.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
