We believe Acting Classes should be challenging and enjoyable, with an emphasis on community; supporting you every step of the way. With classes for all ages, there's something for everyone! From those seeking a fun hobby that will develop their confidence and public speaking skills, to the professional actor looking to keep their skills sharp between work, and everyone in between.
Break a Leg Academy (BALA) was set up in 2023 by Kat Harrison, an experienced Actor, Voice Over, Writer, Director, Producer and Acting Coach. With over 22 years experience in coaching all ages and experience levels Kat is proud to have alumni working in the professional industry. BALA has been set up to increase access to actor training particularly for those in financial hardship.
We offer Set Price Courses and Pay What You Can Workshops for Beginners and beyond.
There are opportunites to perform in stage shows and short films complete with coaching at every stage. Join a group class or get started with private 121 coaching. Not sure if this is for you? You can always book a free chat with Kat to discuss your goals and see if BALA is right for you with no obligation to book. You can also contact us to enquire about access to our Kindness Fund if any of our Set Price Courses are beyond your budget.
We look forward to meeting you!
