Cottiers Theatre is a unique theatrical venue capable of housing all sorts of productions and forms of performance. Events can take place against the backdrop of the stained glass and ornate timberwork or within a black interior suited to certain types of drama. The theatre comfortably seats 206 persons with a generous stage and large impressive acoustic.
Cottiers Bar & Restaurant
Cottiers bar is a popular and unique gathering place in Glasgow’s West End. The bar has a rich character, highly decorated in keeping with the rest of the building. The setting is perfect for pre-theatre drinks or an informal meal. At the weekends during the summer months a delicious barbeque menu is served from the popular terrace outside. In the winter months the candle lit and well stoked fire will have you staying a far longer than you intended.
Cottiers restaurant is situated on the first floor of the building and features shimmering gold ceilings, original salvaged church chairs and bespoke, handcrafted gilt mirrors. The elegant interior is eye-catching but the exterior views of the illuminated church steeple and the mature gardens below are possibly one of the most charming surroundings for eating out in the Glasgow area.
Cottiers is located in the West end of Glasgow in reasonably close proximity to several bus, train and tube lines.
