The Performing Arts Academy. Where young people who stand out always fit in.
We’ve been doing what we do since 2001, and in that time, we’ve been privileged to play our part in the journeys of thousands of talented young people. Having supported many of our students to transform their creative spark into a career in performing arts, we understand what it takes to move things forward to the next level. Renowned for our quality of teaching and high standards of care, we’re committed to constant improvement in all that we do. We know that our experience counts, and we’re passionate about passing on all that we know to every eager student we get to work with.
Our entire reason for being is to create a safe space where talented young people can explore their interests and try out new things – developing a hobby that could last a lifetime or perhaps taking things a little more seriously as they grow.
We’re dedicated to being one of the world’s top performing arts academies by creating a supportive and nurturing environment where talent thrives. We create an exciting environment where young people can realise their dreams – carving out a career in performing arts.
This is where it starts. Where seeds are sown, where talent can grow. Our world-class facilities combined with a proven programme of teaching equip young people with the skills, knowledge and practice to turn their passion into a profession.
Whether our students join us as a hobby or wish to engage in more serious study towards a future in performing arts, their time with us will give them knowledge and insight into various careers within the industry. A peek behind the scenes into areas such as lighting, sound design, composition, production management, creative direction, set building, maintenance, stage management, and so much more could ignite that little spark of interest that leads to a satisfying future career.
Founded in Glasgow, one of the world’s most vibrant and creative cities, students trained by us have gone on to work across the globe in places as far and wide as New York, Tokyo, London, Shanghai and Barcelona. And each year, we proudly welcome students who have travelled from around the world to Scotland for a unique experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
While performing arts is what we’re all about, the experience of studying with us provides young people with so much more. We’re committed to equipping our students with a toolkit of transferable skills that will help them throughout their working and personal lives. By building belief, students gain increased confidence in themselves. Our focus on the individual allows our young people to value their personality and skills – leading to more rounded individuals who are ready to shine.
