WestFest returns for its second annual festival this June
After a hugely successful 2023 event, comprising over 120 events and reaching total audience numbers of 100k, the second annual WestFest will take place from 1 to 30 June 2024.
It's anticipated that in 2024 over 150 events will take place across
60 venues this June, featuring a colourful mix of street festivals, concerts, performances, recitals, galas and exhibitions; across music, theatre, comedy & visual art. You can also expect lots of special highlights such as the Glasgow Vintage Bus Tour, the Kelvingrove Outdoor Ceilidh and a talks and authors' programme.
The highlight for many will be the free programme of outdoor community events across the West End. This year these are expected to be:
> The Big Sunday at Kelvingrove Bandstand
> Vinicombe Street Gala
> Mansfield Park Street Festival
> The Queen Margaret Drive Festival
> Sambayabamba & Friends at Victoria Park.
Plus more TBA!
In addition look out for superb galas, street theatre, cabaret, choral events, brass band concerts and lots more!
