This year’s event is in support of the centre’s charity partner, Scottish Autism and will be held in the morning of Sunday 7th October 2018.
Open to all toddlers and under 5s, the Toddle Waddle will take place in the shopping centre and this year, St. Enoch Centre is calling on little ones to dress up as their favourite character, superhero or princess to add to the excitement of the day.
Hamley & Hatty Bear from Hamleys along with Scottish Autism’s, Wallace Bear will get everyone ready for the walk with an extra special warm up. There will also be prizes up for grabs on the day including a prize for the best dressed costume and the toddler who raises the most money for charity will be rewarded with a birthday party at Hamleys.
Anne Ledgerwood, General Manager at St. Enoch Centre, said: “With just a month to go, we’re looking forward to this year’s Toddle Waddle. We are proud to support our charity partner Scottish Autism who work hard every day to make a real difference to the lives of so many autistic adults and children. Our Toddle Waddle is a fun way for our young shoppers and their families to raise money for this worthwhile charity whilst having a great day out.”
Commenting, Karen Wilson, Fundraising Manager at Scottish Autism, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with St. Enoch Centre and we are looking forward to the upcoming Toddle Waddle. Initiatives like this go a long way towards helping us raise awareness and funds for autism. With the added fun and excitement that comes with dressing up as a favourite character, it is sure to be a great day out for all the family.”
To register for the Toddle Waddle and receive a fundraising pack, please visit www.scottishautism.org/events/other-events/st-enoch-toddle-waddle or call 01259 720 044.
Registration costs £1 per child and all money raised on the day will be used by the charity towards the range of invaluable services and support they provide to individuals with autism and their families
