Lasting six months in total, the city tour will visit six key cities across the UK and Glaswegians will be some of the first to enjoy the celebrations which include games, pop-up bars, stock drops as well as activities across some of the city’s much loved venues including St. Luke’s and the Winged Ox, Crafty Pig, Tiki Bar and Fore Play Crazy Golf. There will also be a special event with Sneaker Laundry on Tuesday 28 May.
The tour will also visit Glasgow’s popular Platform food festival at Argyle Street Arches, where as well as sampling, foodies will have the chance to win a range of prizes from the brand’s giant game machine as well as put their skills to test on the Tsingtao ping pong table.
Commenting, Mark Nicholson, Tsingtao Brand Manager, said: “We’re excited to get the key city tour underway and what better place to launch it than in Scotland.
“We’re looking forward to getting out and about in each of the cities and meeting consumers, educating them about the brand and its rich history while also giving them the chance to sample Tsingtao first hand. It’s going to be a fun summer with our games festival travelling across the UK.”
Brewed and imported from China, Tsingtao is one of the biggest brewing brands in the world and is an incredibly smooth and easy to drink pilsner. The key city tour will help introduce consumers to the brand while giving them the full Tsingtao experience.
After Glasgow and Edinburgh, the tour will visit Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool, before coming to an end in London in September.
As the tour moves around the key cities, customers, wholesalers and accounts can follow Tsingtao’s activity with the help of a bespoke FB messenger chat bot. By scanning a QR code, the ‘bot’ will then inform users of Tsingtao’s current whereabouts, promote upcoming events in the city and educate them about the brand.
