They’re inviting visitors to become one of the Bites of the Round Table, after opening the area outside the centre’s popular Patio Restaurant so they can sit at a table and enjoy their delicious takeaway food.

There are ten tables, with four seats at each table that are configured to make sure there is a two-metre space between each one to maintain social distancing.

Drew Gallagher, managing director of the garden centre, near Gourock said: “Slowly, but surely we’re making our way on the road back to some kind of normality.

“Thanks to the Scottish Government relaxing lockdown rules, we’re able to open up the area outside the Patio Restaurant for people to sit and enjoy the fantastic food and refreshments they have bought there.

“The array of sandwiches, toasties, Panini’s, baked potatoes and of course, our selection of tasty home baking has been very popular since we started a takeaway service.

“We’re sticking to a two-metre distancing between tables, so that our visitors can feel safe when they pay us a visit.

“And I’m sure they’ll enjoy sitting at our tables outside the Patio Restaurant with a pleasant outlook of all our plants, shrubs and bushes in the garden centre.”
