As the hospitality industry adjusts to the ‘new normal’, customers are invited back with open arms to the city centre restaurant, as the legendary cafe is delighted to return to their motto of ‘Love All, Serve All’.
With customer well-being at the forefront, Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow are committed to ensuring that all customers can enjoy their delicious award-winning menu whilst knowing the highest level of safety precautions are being implemented by the cafe. The restaurant has introduced a non-intrusive thermal temperature screening within their new “SAFE + SOUND” programme that all customers and staff are required to pass before entering the cafe.
In line with the latest Scottish Government regulations, Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow will reopen from Saturday 1st August*. Additionally, customers can also take advantage of government’s ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ scheme at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow. Originally running from Monday – Wednesday the offer has now been extended to by two extra days! Meaning customers can eat like legends and save up to £10 off meals and soft drinks from Monday – Friday throughout August.
Diners and groups of up to two households can dine on fresh, high-quality items from Hard Rock Cafe menu which was recently revamped last year. The menu includes award-winning Steak Burgers such as The Original Legendary® Burger and The Big Cheeseburger. Additional guest favourites include items such as the Vegan Moving Mountains™ Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Classic Wings, All-American Sliders and more. For those with a sweet tooth, Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow has you sorted from their American style Cookies & Cream mini-milkshake to their Hot Fudge Brownie – there’s something for everyone at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow.
Guests can book in advance via the Hard Rock Cafe website to enjoy the delicious American fare. However, those who are seeking a spontaneous dining experience whilst out in the city, can visit the restaurant where Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow will book them in dependent on capacity.
Fans of the Hard Rock Cafe merchandise can also pop into the Rock Shop at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow on Saturday 1 August, to browse the infamous t-shirts, hoodies, pins and more.
SAFE + SOUND
To help keep guests and team members safe, Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow will implement “SAFE + SOUND,” its new reopening programme featuring guidelines developed in collaboration with leading worldwide health and sanitisation partners, including ECOSURE and NSF International, formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation.
The “SAFE + SOUND” programme implements the highest of level of safety, sanitation, food handling and employee training. The internal programme is designed to complement and fully support the latest local and national government guidance, as well as incorporating Hard Rock Cafe’s additional safety precautions. As part of the new protocol for example, all guests and team members will be required to pass a non-intrusive thermal temperature screening process before entering each Hard Rock Cafe location.
In addition to the handheld temperature device, the “SAFE + SOUND” programme will also incorporate elements of local government guidelines that are in line with the latest Scottish Government regulations:
• A dedicated ‘Clean Team’ in-restaurant, focusing on regularly sanitising all high-touch areas, including restrooms, tables, seating, menus and door handles
• Full sanitisation of the location each night
• Extensive employee training on COVID-19 precautionary measures
• Hand sanitation stations for guests and team members throughout the restaurants
• Mandatory facial covering/masks and gloves for all team members
• Menus (where allowed) utilising the latest in antibacterial coating, as well as contactless menu options
• Reduced capacity to factor in 2m social distancing rule
• Effective people flow with floor signage, as well as staff management of queues around entry and exit points
• Retail returns in the Rock Shops will be kept for 72 hours in a safe place off the shop floor
