Launching today their talented bartenders have created new drinks and packages to tempt your tastebuds this autumn.
New drinks on offer include a Ribena Margarita - bursting with blackcurrants with added tequila, and the passionfruit favourite Naked Porn Star martini that’s served straight up without Prosecco. There’s also a Blood Orange Margarita created by Phillie’s of Shawlands with Cascabel Blanco, Cointreau, fresh blood orange juice and a squeeze of lime that is sure to please.
If you’re looking to try something different, order one of their new cocktail packs that combine some of their favourite cocktails from bars including East End hangout St Lukes and Redmonds. With everything in there from a refreshing Mango Daiquiri to a classic Negroni, the drinks also come with ice and garnish for perfect serves at home.
Founding members of the Glasgow Cocktail Collection (GCC) include brilliant bars such as Vodka Wodka in the west end, Blue Dog, speakeasy Kelvingrove Café, alongside Redmonds and Phillies of Shawlands.
Dedicated to supporting Glasgow’s favourite bars, The GCC has raised a whopping £1500 for Scotland’s hospitality charity - The Drinks Trust by donating sales of their drinks to help bartenders that have found themselves out of work.
On top of this, the Collective aims to support all of the trade with their initiative, buying all stock from local sources and wholesalers and distributed back to local businesses and their families.
Fraser McIlwraith, founder of Dark Art Drinks and founder of Glasgow Cocktail Collective explains: “By choosing to buy a cocktail from GCC, you’re supporting local and helping keep your favourite bars in business.”
Started during the lockdown, the new direction for GCC has seen the cocktail delivery service now on delivery platforms including Deliveroo, The Bevy Store, collection via Vodka Wodka and through their own GCC app.
Cocktail lovers can choose drinks from their favourite bars and see them delivered contact-free the same day to their doors, ready to enjoy in the comfort of their homes.
Fraser continues: “Our ambition for the GCC has always been to keep the cocktail culture alive in the city and deliver the best drinks from the city’s best bars, for an at-home experience.
“Now more than ever, with the new restrictions in hospitality, we continue to offer an excellent service that allows our customers to enjoy premium quality cocktails in your own kitchen.
“It’s even easier to order our drinks, with Deliveroo and The Bevy Store delivering across the city with one click. Our new drinks are in response to feedback to our customers, and available to enjoy this weekend.”
Drinks are delivered chilled to customers' door, complete with ice and garnish. All cocktails are available to order now. Find them on Deliveroo, The Bevy Store, The GCC App or click and collect from Vodka Wodka.
