The Big Light, Scotland’s Podcast Network, is launching a brand-new weekly podcast - OUT, OUT!
Out,Out! is sponsored by VEGA, one of the city’s favourite nightlife spots, and will celebrate the highs and lows of partying in Scotland with hosts Aarti Joshi and Laura Boyd taking listeners on an epic journey of parties, gigs and most importantly, laughs!
The weekly podcast will welcome stars from across Scotland and beyond. Nina Nesbitt is first up in the Out, Out! hotseat, with upcoming episodes also featuring Paul Black, Sanjeev Kohli, Cassi Gillespie and many more.
Out Out! will see radio presenter Aarti Joshi join forces with TV broadcaster Laura Boyd to take listeners on a weekly trip through some of life’s funniest moments - from interesting club nights to pot noodle glow ups. Aarti and Laura will make more Out, Out! memories at VEGA, Glasgow’s hottest rooftop bar and entertainment destination, taking over the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow. From monthly Disco Brunches to ten pin bowling, late-night DJs and its very own disco lift…VEGA is the place to go Out, Out! in Glasgow.
Speaking about the new podcast, Laura Boyd said, “I like to think of Out, Out as those voice notes you leave on your group chat after a wild one on the dancefloor, filled with anecdotes of all the fun… and a little bit of the fear! Aarti and I have loved hearing Scottish stars dish the dirt on their nights out, while sharing our own tales of disco dramas, of which there are many! Especially from Aarti. *polishes halo*.”
Aarti Joshi said, “Laura and I first locked eyes across a dancefloor and have been slagging each other off, dancing (badly) and laughing our daft heads off since! We decided involving some well-known Scottish names in our nonsense seemed like the perfect idea and Out, Out! was born! I don’t think we realised their stories would be wilder than ours – prepare for shock, awe and most importantly big laughs!”
Laura Boyd and Aarti Joshi are two gals for whom the party's never over. Following many years of dancing, gigs and memorable, but messy, after parties, they decided it was high time they got their well-known pals to share the highs and lows of partying with the world. Then, Out, Out! was born.
You’ll get to know Out,Out!’s guests as they join Aarti and Laura, inviting you on a walk of shame down memory lane. Laugh along as they share tales of cringe club cahoots, magical moments, afterparty antics and much MUCH more. Featuring some of Scotland’s best known names, Out,Out! will make you reflect, reminisce and reduce you to hysterics - but most of all, it will make you want to go Out, Out!
Episode 1 features Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt. The chart-topping performer joins Aarti and Laura in the studio to discuss her own memorable nights Out, Out! with stories about Justin Bieber, Hong Kong and Glasgow institution Nice and Sleazy. You’re on the guestlist - we’ll see you Out, Out!
Out, Out! launches on Thursday 13th October on The Big Light Network and will be available to listen to on all other major global directories including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The weekly podcast is sponsored by VEGA, Glasgow’s hottest rooftop bar and entertainment destination.
