Spooky season is on its way this October with families invited to hit a monster strike at Hollywood Bowl centres in Glasgow.
For kids and grown-ups in search of frighteningly good fun this October Half Term, Hollywood Bowl Coatbridge and Springfield Quay are putting families’ competitive skills to the test with a host of seasonal activity offers.
And guests who visit their local centre on the 30th or the 31st of October between 7:30pm to 9:30pm will have the chance to win a free drinks voucher if the team see them scoring a spooky strike.
From state-of-the-art bowling lanes to an innovative scoring system with digital top scorer boards to bring out guests’ competitive spirit, Hollywood Bowl has just what we need to get the terrifying action bowling this October.
Guests can tuck into a family of four feast at the centre’s American Diner, from just £26. This features a selection of delicious food and drinks, including classics such as hot dogs, burgers, shakes and signature cocktails on offer. Better yet, the centres are also offering ghoulishly tasty drinks, including a Halloween themed mango and passionfruit mocktail, a frightfully green vodka and passionfruit Strike cocktail as well as a new Costa pumpkin spice syrup for all coffee needs.
Competitive guests will also get to challenge each other in Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusement area, which offers leading games, including Mario Kart and all-time family favourites, air hockey and racing games.
Throughout half term lucky guests will also have the chance to take part in a Beano themed treasure hunt when visiting their local centre, with the winners awarded a pin-tastic lucky dip prize once all clues have been unscrambled.
Liz Penney, Head of Marketing at Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming guests to the centres in Glasgow for a half term filled with spooky and affordable fun. We provide fun for all, so whether it be quality family time, or date night, our centre is a one-stop-shop for all your entertainment needs.”
Centres are open from 9am, with 25% off games bowled before 11am for all you early birds and there’s even a chance to win a game of bowling for up to 6 people by finding the hidden Gnasher on The Hollywood Bowl website and posting a screen shot to Hollywood Bowl’s Facebook page @hollywoodbowluk.
Guests are encouraged to visit the Hollywood Bowl website www.hollywoodbowl.co.uk to pre-book their visit and find out more about their local centres offers. Guests are reminded they can wear their own shoes to bowl in and can be the first to hear about exclusive offers by signing up to their VIP mailing list on the website.
