The team behind Glasgow’s iconic crazy golf venue, Fore Play Crazy Golf, has today unveiled the venue’s brand new experience: ‘Fayre Play’, Scotland’s first adults only fairground games experience. The exciting new concept, brought to life by the Fore Play team, will open its doors to the public on 4 March 2023 following a complete transformation of the existing Glasgow venue, which begins at midnight on 18 February.
Fayre Play will be the perfect place for visitors to clown around and enjoy a nostalgic mix of fairground favourites with a competitive edge, made over with a Scottish twist. They can also expect all the incredible street food, cocktails, mocktails and entertainment that Fore Play is known for. Popular menu items like the ‘Capaldi’ and ‘Spicy Bird’ burgers will remain, alongside exciting new additions including cocktails ‘Who Gives a Duck’ and ‘Merry go Rum’.
More information, including the list of games, food and drinks available, will be released in the coming weeks.
Fore Play has welcomed over 200,000 guests from Glasgow, Scotland and beyond since it first swung into action in 2018. The experience quickly built and cemented a reputation as a must visit, with hundreds of five star reviews across, Google TripAdvisor, Facebook and more. Most recently, the team has been nominated in two categories at the Federation of Small Business Awards: Service Excellence and Community.
Craig Neilson, co-owner of Fayre Play and Fore Play Crazy Golf, said: “We were the first people to bring the adults only crazy golf concept to Scotland, and we’ve had the best time entertaining our guests since opening the doors in 2018. Now, it’s time for us to bring Scotland another first with our adults only fairground games experience. Make sure to sign up to our site to hear about ticket sales first.
“We’ve curated an amazing selection of fairground games, given them a distinctly Scottish twang and combined them with a host of brilliant prizes that’ll make you desperate to beat your pals, in a nice way of course. We’ll also be continuing our tradition of supplying some of the best street food and cocktails Glasgow has to offer. We can’t wait for you to see it.”
Fore Play Crazy Golf Glasgow’s transformation begins at midnight on 18 February 2023. Fore Play’s Edinburgh experience will continue to operate at Picardy Place.
