Both brands, which are expected to open later this year, join the exciting pipeline of new names for the retail and leisure destination, including Victoria’s Secret, Sunglass Hut and The Real Greek that were announced earlier this year.
Rituals, whose offering spans cosmetics, home scents, body products and elegant gift sets, will make itself at home between O2 and Boss in a 2,000 sq. ft unit, across from White Company at Silverburn.
When Polestar moves into its 3,500 sq. ft unit, previously Argos, it will be the first Scottish location for the Scandinavian brand which aims to create a truly climate-neutral car by 2030. Teasing its launch, Polestar has occupied a temporary pop-up at Silverburn since January. With its own showroom, visitors can now browse the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 vehicle models and even take a test drive in level five of Silverburn’s multi-storey car park.
David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, commented: “Both deals form part of our wider investment ambitions for Silverburn and reinforce our position as the city’s premier shopping, dining, and leisure destination.
“We’re really proud of our retail and leisure mix and we are continuing to evolve our home and beauty offering. The White Company has been a fantastic success since its launch in December and we’re confident Rituals will be equally as popular with our visitors. Coupled with Polestar and the thriving electric vehicle market, these brands will further diversify Silverburn’s offering.”
Located only 15 minutes from the city centre and with over 4,500 free car parking spaces, Silverburn is one of the most accessible and attractive destinations in the city. Current retailers include Zara, Flannels, Next, M&S, Boots, Boss, Tag Heuer and JD Sports. Silverburn’s Cineworld features the country's first-ever IMAX with laser and the centre’s offer also includes Fun Street and Pure Gym, as well as Fridays, Zizi, Wagamama, Stack and Still, Döner Shack and Nandos.
