June’s special theme is focusing on all of the amazing ladies who come to Bongo’s Bingo give each show such energy and vibrancy: Night Of The Divas. All locations across the UK will be celebrating seven absolute iconic queens to have ever walked the planet: Whitney. Madonna. Cher. Rihanna. Celine. Dolly. Beyonce.
And what’s more, each Night of The Divas date will be playing their incredible music. These are some of the most influential women who have inspired and led female empowerment for decades and their music – from epic ballads to peak time pop magic – will have Glasgow rocking on Friday 30th June.
Each tune will get the audience on their feet, singing at the top of their lungs and reminding everyone that women do, in fact, run the world. Fancy dress is not compulsory but is encouraged if anyone would like to power dress up as their favourite Diva.
Glasgow’s full dates are: Friday 2nd June, Saturday 3rd June (day and night), Friday 9th June, Saturday 10th June (day and night), Friday 16th June and Friday 30th June. Tickets for all June shows are on sale at www.bongosbingo.co.uk
Jonny Bongo, Bongo’s Bingo co-founder, says: “At the start of this year we debuted our 90s theme across the UK and each and every show was wild. Now we are incredibly proud to announce the dates for our Night of the Divas events taking place throughout June alongside all other dates that month. These special dates are all about celebrating the amazing women who not only give Bongo’s Bingo its magic but also all of the women in all of our lives. I know our hosts can’t wait to play the classic tracks which make Whitney, Rhianna, Madonna and more so iconic. June is going to be class. We’ve also just had the absolute bonkers moment of Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson randomly turning up at Bongo’s Bingo in Glasgow at SWG3 – he absolutely loved it! He was giving out the glowsticks in the rave round.”
Bongo’s Bingo is the most talked about night out in the country. The original bingo rave phenomenon has rejuvenated a quintessentially quaint British pastime featuring nostalgia-soaked revelry, rave rounds, dance-offs, en masse Karaoke, crazy prizes and much more in a dose of pure and unadulterated escapism. There’s truly nothing else like it.
