The Quay reaches finals of two national awards in the same week
Glasgow's leading entertainment destination, The Quay at Springfield Quay has reached the shortlist of finalists in two national awards.

Glasgow’s leading entertainment destination, The Quay at Springfield Quay has reached the shortlist of finalists in The Scottish Hospitality Awards in the category of ‘Entertainment Complex of the Year’ as well as ‘Best Cinema Experience’ plus the riverside leisure and entertainment park has been nominated in three categories at The Scottish Entertainment Awards including ‘Best Family Venue’, Best Hospitality Employer and Best Entertainment Venue.
Both these industry awards high profile ceremonies coincidentally fall in the same week at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on 16th May and then 18 May.
The next stage will see the industry judging panels carry out their evaluations and ultimately decide on the winners who will be announced on the above noted nights.
It is no wonder that the complex is receiving such recognition as 2022-23 has been a phenomenally successful year with the opening of new uber cool restaurants and cafes Mother Hubbard’s and Chaiiwala overlooking the river, Odeon Luxe is the largest and busiest Scottish cinema in the Odeon chain and Alea Casino is preparing to relaunch as the premier entertainment spot in the city.
The area surrounding The Quay Glasgow is now widely recognised as Glasgow’s entertainment hub with the OVO Hydro and SECC close by. The Quay having been constructed in 1996 arguably led the way for establishing a range of leisure activities on the iconic river location and twenty seven years on is still providing entertainment at its best day and night.
