Every donation contributes to a brighter future for Scotland's youth, and as part of its fundraising drive, VEGA will be donating 50% of all ticket sales for the STV Appeal Disco Brunch to the much loved children’s charity. There will also be limited edition cocktails available to purchase exclusively at the brunch with 50p of every cocktail sold donated to the Appeal... VEGA will also be hosting an exclusive raffle at the brunch, with all activity to support Scotland’s young people affected by poverty.
The venue is aiming to raise two thousand pounds throughout the month so get your dancing shoes on whilst supporting a brilliant charity that provides much needed support to tens of thousands of children and families across Scotland.
Taking place on Saturday, 2nd September from 12 -4pm, the special STV Appeal Disco Brunch includes entertainment, welcome snacks, two Grey Goose cocktails, one brunch main meal of your choice and a half bottle of prosecco per person from VEGA’s unique ‘Build Your Own’ bellini stations. Priced at £39pp, guests can book now at VEGAGLASGOW.COM
All in the name of charity, limited edition drinks will be available exclusively at the brunch. Why not sip on ‘Batty's Northern Lights Elixir’. A refreshing and vibrant cocktail with Grey Goose vodka, St. Germain Elderflower and Prosecco inspired by Scotland's favourite weatherman, Sean Batty's sunny disposition.
Emma Jackson, Fundraising and Events Manager at STV Children’s Appeal said: “We’re delighted that VEGA is hosting a Big Scottish Breakfast brunch in aid of the STV Children’s Appeal. The Big Scottish Breakfast is a great opportunity to bring different communities together to share a meal and raise money for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
“All funds that are donated to the Appeal through ticket sales, cocktails and the raffle will be used to provide children and families affected by poverty across Scotland with essential support, so I encourage folk to come along for a worthy cause and great afternoon.”
The STV Children’s Appeal was launched in 2011 to support children and families affected by poverty across Scotland.
It offers practical help like food and warm clothes; creating opportunities for training and employability; and enables social and emotional support. It works closely with Scotland’s leading experts in the field of child poverty, sharing knowledge and expertise with both small community groups and national charities on their experiences of addressing the challenges of child poverty in Scotland.
Since 2011, the STV Children’s Appeal has raised £30 million and has provided awards to local and national projects across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, delivering much needed support to tens of thousands of children and families.
