The wait is over for fans of fried chicken in Glasgow! Popeyes® UK has announced that it will be bringing a taste of New Orleans to the city centre with its latest opening, coming to Sauchiehall Street.
Chicken fans in the Glasgow area will be able to experience Popeyes® world-famous shatter crunch for themselves once they get their hands on the mouth-watering menu. Popeyes® brings the flavours of New Orleans to the UK, with its signature 12-hour marinated chicken, plus original Southern biscuits and gravy.
The hotly anticipated Glasgow restaurant will be Popeyes’ 18th opening in 2024, and is the third Scottish restaurant to open. After Popeyes’ highly successful launch into Scotland in Barrhead last Autumn, followed by Aberdeen this spring, residents of central Glasgow have been waiting for their turn. The opening day will be celebrated with Popeyes® UK signature hospitality, with more details on exclusive giveaways to be announced very soon.
What’s more, Popeyes® Sauchiehall Street will also be serving a the ‘Brekkie’ menu, featuring British Breakfast classics with a New Orleans twist. The menu includes the Big Cajun breakfast roll, new Brekkie wraps, Cajun hash browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits. Breakfast will be available until 11am every day, and will even include a Bacon roll meal for just £1.99, comprising of the Bacon roll, a Hash Brown and a drink.

The new Glasgow restaurant is situated at 108 – 110 Sauchiehall Street and seats up to 80 people for dine in with takeaway will also available.
