The new look design-led Glasgow Marriott Hotel has launched its 2024 festive programme with events and celebrations to mark the property’s first Christmas following a full refurbishment designed to elevate guest experiences.
Glasgow Marriott Hotel has always been the preferred choice for incentive travel, meetings and events of all sizes with the Clyde Suite, a superb conference and events space catering for up to 600 people with the ability to host large corporate and private events and glittering awards dinners.
From lively party nights to elegant afternoon teas, and a spectacular Hogmanay Gala Ball, the hotel is offering a range of festive experiences that embrace all that the Marriott is renowned for and promises to make this Christmas season truly special. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy these events in the newly renovated spaces, combining modern luxury with the warmth of traditional holiday cheer.
The season kicks off with Festive Party Nights, held throughout December in the hotel’s stunning Clyde Suite ballroom. These evenings are designed to deliver an experience full of festive spirit, with a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine per person, and lively entertainment provided by the hotel’s resident DJ. Whether you’re gathering with friends or hosting a corporate event, these party nights are an ideal way to celebrate the season in style.
For a more relaxed celebration, the Festive Afternoon Tea offers an indulgent experience in the stylish Brew Bar. Guests can enjoy a selection of festive-inspired cakes, pastries, and savouries, all complemented by a glass of Galanti Rosé Prosecco. This afternoon tea is perfect for those looking to take a moment to unwind and enjoy the holiday ambiance in an elegant setting.
For a right royal hoolie, The Glasgow Marriott’s Hogmanay Gala Ball, is where guests can ring in the New Year with a glamorous celebration in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The evening includes a sumptuous four-course dinner, a half bottle of wine per person, and entertainment from a live ceilidh band, DJ, and Piper. This elegant event promises to be a night of unforgettable memories as we welcome 2025 in style.
“The festive season is always a highlight for us at the Glasgow Marriott, and this year, we’re more excited than ever to welcome guests to celebrate in our beautifully refreshed surroundings,” said Chris McGuinness, General Manager of Glasgow Marriott Hotel. “Our team has crafted an exceptional lineup of events that cater to all tastes, ensuring everyone can experience the magic of the season with us.”
All package details and costings are available in the 2024 Christmas brochure.
