Highlights included a Teddy Bears’ Picnic when Headstart Nursery children joined in fancy dress, a pancake flipping competition, and Nuffield Health combined fundraising and fitness activities for STV Children’s Appeal’s ‘Big Scottish Breakfast’ campaign.
The annual Big Scottish Breakfast fundraiser helps to provide nutritious breakfasts for children and young people across Scotland who often go without, by inviting friends, family, colleagues and classmates to have breakfast together and raise money for children affected by poverty across Scotland.
Skypark’s Strategic Lettings Advisor, Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital, added: “Thanks to everyone that came along to share breakfast together. 100% of profits from all breakfasts purchased will be donated to the Appeal for children at risk of hunger. There’s still time to donate here www.justgiving.com. Thank you for your support.”
Last month Sean Batty, STV weatherman and host of hit travel series, Sean’s Scotland, launched Skypark’s newest billboard, inviting Glaswegians to support the STV Children’s Appeal’s ‘Big Scottish Breakfast’ campaign.
Weatherman and STV Children’s Appeal Ambassador, Sean Batty who launched the billboard campaign said: “A big thank you to Skypark for helping us promote the Big Scottish Breakfast, I’m looking forward to seeing the billboard on my commutes every morning and I hope that it will encourage even more people to get involved, and raise funds for children and families that need it most across Scotland.”
