Monster Jam Ramped Up™ roars into Glasgow for the first time ever, for an adrenaline-charged weekend at OVO Hydro between 20th and 22nd September. Tickets are available now on www.monsterjam.co.uk
The Monster Jam Ramped Up™ premiere in Glasgow will feature the all-new Monstergon™, a one-of-a-kind feat of engineering that launches Monster Jam trucks as they attempt fan-favourite stunts, like massive sky wheelies, big-air jumps and amazing backflips.
Fans will be on the edge of their seats as world-class drivers show off crazy skills and all-out racing in fierce head-to-head battles for the Event Championship. Arriving for the first time in Glasgow, the Monster Jam IP and Marvel Monster Jam trucks will push all limits in Freestyle, Skills, Donuts and Racing competitions.
The excitement begins before the main event, at the Monster Jam Pit Party held in Glasgow on 20th – 22nd September. Fans can see the massive trucks up close, meet their favourite drivers and crews, get autographs, and take pictures. This fun-filled experience is the only place that allows people to get up close access to the Monster Jam teams and get an insider’s look at how these trucks are built to stand up to the competition.
In addition to seeing heated rivalries and high-flying stunts, fans will witness three Marvel Monster Jam trucks. The Thor Monster Jam truck features the God of Thunder’s helmet and cape, along with a massive version of his mighty hammer, Mjölnir. The majestic purple glow of Wakandan vibranium is unmistakable on the Black Panther Monster Jam truck. Spider-Senses will be tingling when fans see The Amazing Spider-Man Monster Jam truck in classic red and blue complete with a larger-than-life spider icon.
The all-star lineup features six skilled athletes fighting for the championship while putting on a spectacle, constantly innovating and always entertaining. Matt Cody gets behind the wheel of the black and green wrecking machine, the legendary Grave Digger®. Black Granger grabs the bull by the horns in El Toro Loco®. Monster Jam World Finals® Freestyle champion Charlie Pauken aims to take a bite out of the competition in Megalodon®. Two-time GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ title holder and WOW Factor of the Year award winner Bara Musawwir in Black Panther, driver to be confirmed for The Amazing Spider-Man and Myranda Cozad in Thor all look to secure the event championship.
Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early to experience Monster Jam Trackside approximately one hour before the event start time. Featured festivities include competition previews, driver interviews, opening ceremonies, and power rush truck introductions.
Monster Jam drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete, but the vital dexterity to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills, and racing at speeds up to 70 miles-per-hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motorsports action seen around the world. Monster Jam Ramped Up™ — when rubber meets metal, you’ll be ramped up for more!
