With the help of the local food community and the inventive culinary skills of their chefs, Sole Club in Glasgow Finnieston has developed innovative dining concepts that invite guests to go 'Behind the Fridge' as they remove their exterior designs and open the way for two new menu experiences.
At the heart of these new concepts is The Chippie Club, which pays homage to their origins with the iconic Six by Nico 'Chippie' Tasting Menu. Sole Club has taken the essence of this beloved six-course tasting journey and reinvented it, delivering an all-new flavour of fun.
The Chippie Club tasting menu offers bold and modern twists on classic chippie favourites, bringing a fresh approach to timeless dishes. From a chip on a stick to the Smoky Sausage Supper, every dish offers comfort and creativity in equal measure. This whimsical reinterpretation of Six's culinary roots has resulted in an experience that is both nostalgic and thrilling, blending traditions with a contemporary flair that has been etched in their DNA since their inception in Glasgow Finnieston in 2017.
For those seeking more options, yet equally satisfying, The Club Classics menu is available to satisfy quick lunches or late-night bites. Featuring their daily seafood catch, which is freshly prepared to order, this menu brings together classic, delicious offerings perfect for any time of day. Whether you’re craving a light snack or a hearty meal, The Club Classics offers dishes from Kedgeree Scotch Egg to a Fish Kiev and includes Whole Lemon Sole.
Additionally, Sole Club will continue serving their beloved Sunday Lobster Roast - a fan's favorite on the weekend menu. Here, the chefs take a regular Sunday roast and turn it into something truly memorable with their unique Lobster Roast available from £33 for two courses.
Six company founder and owner of Sole Club, Nico Simeone said: “When we first launched Sole Club, we knew we wanted to test and experiment with new menus, concepts, and dishes, especially as a seafood-focused restaurant was a new venture for us. After six months of creative exploration, we are excited to unveil two new dining experiences—an evolution shaped by the feedback of our guests and the innovation of our talented chefs.”
“The Chippie Club experience represents a new wave for the original Six by Nico menu theme, with playful twists and bold flavours that truly capture what Sole Club is all about—delivering a fully immersive dining experience. I can’t wait for our customers to experience our new bold menu options.”
The Chippie Club tasting menu experience is priced from £40 and The Club Classics menu offers individual main dishes from £7 each.
Both menus are available from 27th September 2024 at Sole Club, 1132 Argyle St, Finnieston, Glasgow G3 8TD.
