Tommy Balaam, Founder and Director of Fun at Captain Fantastic and children’s author explains: “At school, I was good at maths but struggled with English but didn’t know why. I was identified as Dyslexic much later, at acting school. Therefore, being able to support Dyslexia Scotland’s Awareness Week is a great opportunity to help this important charity in their mission to both raise awareness and empower people with dyslexia to reach their full potential plus have some great fun at the same time!”
Tommy is giving up his time to perform at two online parties hosted by Dyslexia Scotland to be held on 2 October 2024:
6.30pm – 7pm (4-8 year olds): Join Captain Fantastic to celebrate difference at our online party filled with fun and tricks, bubbles, puppets and games. Hosted by Captain Fantastic himself, everyone will have a magical time.
7.15pm – 8pm (8-12 year olds): Join Captain Fantastic to celebrate difference at our online party packed with games, competitions and a whole host of special effects. The fun will be hosted by Captain Fantastic himself, to ensure everyone has an epic time.
