Holland & Barrett, the UK’s leading health and wellness retailer, opened the doors to its new Glasgow Central Station store on Monday 24th February. The 301 sq.ft store comes complete with a fresh look and feel, boasting even more of Holland & Barrett’s latest range of health and wellness solutions, including leading brands and the best of H&B’s new food and sports ranges.
H&B’s Glasgow Central Station team of expert colleagues are all qualified to advise customers to offer personalised support for their wellness goals, which will also include a Women’s Health Coach to offer a deeper level of expertise and confidential support on hormone health.
Regional Manager, Victoria Morrison, commented: “The team and I are thrilled to be opening our new Glasgow Central Station store. This is our third H&B in the city centre, complementing our flagship Buchanan Street and Queen's Street stores. Being one of the busiest stations in the UK, this prime location will allow us to support our customers health and wellness needs, when they’re on the go. Our five expert store colleagues will be on hand to offer the best health products and wellness advice, and look forward to guiding the community through their wellness journeys.”
This latest opening is part of Holland & Barrett’s ongoing investment in its retail stores, revitalising its store experience, through refits, relocations and opening new stores. H&B has invested c. £70 million in the transformation of its stores, technology and new product development including the opening and renovation of over 200 stores in the UK. Throughout FY25 H&B is investing in at least one store a day in a store refresh and refurbishment program across UK & Ireland.
Sustainability is at the heart of the new store, which has been refitted using mild steel, a 100% recyclable material, along with FSC certified wood. LED powered lighting has also been designed to be more efficient, reduce energy consumption and cut carbon emissions. Through H&B’s store transformation programme, recycled materials have been used where possible from old stores to minimise waste.
Highlights in the new store also include the new food range which has been crafted by H&B’s expert nutritionists and chefs, and helps support wellness needs such as gut health and skin support. H&B’s new TriActive sports nutrition range can also be found in the store and comprises 16 new products, backed by science and designed to support performance, recovery and focus. Customers can shop the new ranges with 20% off until 24th March.
The store is located at Holland & Barrett, Unit 10, Glasgow Central Station, 79 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 3SQ
