Created by I Do Handmade, the small business village will feature only micro businesses who want to sell their hand-made products to the 29,000 expected visitors to the event, which is being held at the SEC Glasgow between 24th & 27th May.
There are a number of small businesses from Glasgow, South Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire attending including:
Weegie Art Studio: This Glaswegian water-colour artist creates prints, cards, bookmarks and stickers all in beautiful colourful designs.
Cleoarteza: With a love for all things miniature growing up, this small business creates tiny, pocket size gifts.
Rainy Day Crafts: Stunning hand crafted jewellery made from materials like seaglass and clay – colourful, unique and quirky.
Clissart: Creating beautiful home décor and gifts like quilts, cushions, purses and decorations all from a variety of textiles.
Doodlewrap Designs: Based in Knightswood, this hand-made jewellery is made from Abalone shell, wood and mixed metals inspired by the owners love for the Greek Islands.
Hey Jay Studios: Handmade ceramic homeware and jewellery all made from the crafters studio in the heart of Glasgow.
I Do Handmade’s Small Biz Village has been carefully curated to ensure there’s something for everyone. There are 19 hand-made brands in total, from luxurious hand-poured candles, to thoughtful stationery to stunning jewellery and more, all handcrafted by talented British businesses. There will also be a series of craft workshops for visitors to try their hand at various crafting activities.
